ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION

Our Environmental Division provides a broad array of high-quality services to our clients, relying upon the multidisciplinary strength of our personnel and our established portfolio of technically-challenging projects as the framework for our success. Our experienced project managers and staff have the capability to meet challenging deadlines and complex project assignments with efficiency and accuracy.

As one of Hawaii's largest and most qualified locally-owned environmental engineering firms, our clients include a broad cross-section of Hawaii's private business sector as well as Federal, State, and County agencies that look to us for practical guidance and long-term stability. We have performed work for all branches of the United States military including agencies from the U.S. Coast Guard, NAVFAC Pacific, NAVFAC Hawaii, U.S. Army, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This work has taken us throughout the Pacific region including Japan, Korea, Guam, Saipan, and Yap. We continue to work with some of the largest businesses in the islands including developers, lending institutions, realtors, and other commercial entities.




MEC DIVISION

Environet is able to provide total response capabilities for any type of munitions and explosives of concern (MEC) project and can perform all phases of operations, including:








The MEC Division has successfully neutralized over 1,500 live MEC on over 7,000 acres of property at various locations. Environet possesses a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) Federal Explosives License to order, possess, store, and use explosives. The MEC Division houses the Operations, Blasting, Safety, and Quality branches. We have conducted work on FAA property, private home and farm lots, as well as community property, all without incident. Our firm has the facilities, explosive storage magazines, thermal treatment and demilitarization equipment, MEC detection equipment, including Minelab F3, EM61, and various other metal detectors, and a fleet of vehicles (4X4 trucks, backhoes, excavators, AT forklifts, etc.) capable of supporting operations of any size, and/or multiple operations simultaneously. The MEC Division currently maintains a staff of 70 employees capable of response and completion of any MEC project safely and successfully.

Environet's MEC Division is headed by Brian Stepp, a Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Specialist with over 30 years of experience in EOD and unexploded ordnance (UXO) work. He leads a team of professional project managers, engineers, geologists, geophysicists, licensed blasters, and EOD/UXO professionals with vast experience around the globe. The MEC Division is capable of not only executing operations but also plan development and document production. We have successfully prepared and submitted multiple Explosives Safety Submissions, Project Work Plans, Accident Prevention Plans/Site Safety and Health Plans, Geophysical Prove-Out/Geophysical Verification Strip Plans, Exclusion Zone Security Notification and Implementation Plans, Archaeological Monitoring Plans, and Final Reports.

CONSTRUCTION DIVISION

Environet's Construction Division offers quality and cost-effective general contracting and construction management services throughout Hawaii. Environet provides project management, construction quality and safety management professionals, knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) contracting, logistical support, and local engineering and construction personnel. Environet was recently awarded a seat on the $200M NAVFAC Hawaii HUBZone multiple award construction contract (MACC). Work includes new construction, repair, alteration, and related demolition of existing infrastructure for DoD infrastructure including residential building construction, industrial buildings and warehouses, and supporting improvements such as utilities, airfields, and roadways. To date, Environet has been awarded 11 task orders valued at over $20M.

ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION

Environet's Administrative Division supports our entire operation from our office in Honolulu, Hawaii. They provide support to all Divisions in the following areas:


Office/Administrative Support
Our office/administrative support team provides administrative support to all our Divisions. Our administrative professionals perform a wide range of administrative tasks, data entry, and documentation.

Accounting
Our experienced accounting team provides Accounts Payable and Payroll processing for all our employees as well as project-based accounting to support our project managers and operations personnel. We use Deltek GCS Premier for cost accounting. The system provides real-time capability to capture incurred and committed costs. The system also captures project to date costs by type of expenditure and performs variance projections. These systems and tools represent industry standards and government accepted reporting systems.

Business Development
Our Business Development team shares a wide range of responsibilities including identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term relationships with clients, strengthening ties with existing clients, proposal writing, and marketing. Our team is always searching for new opportunities for growth.

Procurement and Contracts Management
Our Procurement and Contracts Department is well versed in Government contracting. They routinely coordinate with project managers regarding upcoming project subcontract/procurement requirements, administer subcontracts, negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers, review contract change orders and modifications, and are responsible for the procurement of all equipment, supplies, and services.

Human Resources
Our HR Department has overall responsibility for implementing strategies and policies to effectively deal with the administration, management, and training of personnel. Our HR professionals routinely manage training and development, compensation and employee benefits, as well as overall organizational management such as organizational design and development, business transformation, and change management.

Information Technology
Our IT team provides our Divisions with a network-based infrastructure that can be accessed from both the office and remotely. Our IT team provides e-mail, internet, intranet and FTP sites which allows optimal communication both intra- and inter-office.
